“Sometimes we stare so long….

….at a door that is closing that we see too late the one that is open.” – Alexander Graham Bell

When a season or a chapter of your life is over you will know it. You push and push but nothing seems to work. There’s no peace, there’s no ease, there’s no happiness. It causes nothing but weariness.

Sometimes the season is over temporarily, other times it’s over completely. Whichever one it is, let’s not focus on the closed door and try to focus on the new door that’s opening. The timing is never perfect, but it’s always right.

“Do not wait to strike till the iron is hot; but make it hot by striking.” – William B. Sprague
