In Trouble? How To Avoid Hitting the Wall.

Where your attention goes, energy flows & so goes your life.

In an interview, racecar driving legend Mario Andretti gave the number one success tip to racecar driving:

“Don’t look a the wall. Your car goes where your eyes go.”

In my language –> Your car (your life) goes where your eyes (your attention) go.

So, to that end, if you are facing some challenge or crisis or disappointment today, make sure you fill your mind with the right stuff.

When I face such seasons in my own life, I won’t read the newspaper or watch the news where all they talk about is doom & gloom, instead I make sure that I fill my mind & my life with positive, inspirational, supportive, encouraging, empowering input, information, & ideas. For example, stories of aspiration, people who, despite challenges, overcame obstacles, achieved great things. Strategies for success, prosperity, health, love & joy. Information & ideas that created more abundance, to help me grow, expand & become more. And I did.

In fact, even when I’m not in a life-pickle, I still do this – it’s become a way of life for me…so when I do face some crisis, challenge, or disappointment, it doesn’t really effect me as much as it used to, because I’ve trained my being to be tough.

Back to the news, I tweeted the other day, “Evening news is where they begin with ‘Good evening’, and then proceed to tell you why it isn’t…”
