Normal Is So Abnormal.
There is no escaping the natural law: you sow what you reap. When we hear or see this “saying”, we automatically think of it as a punishment of some kind. But in reality, it works in all parts of life, even in the good.
Below is an excerpt from a blog post I’ve “borrowed” (yes, I’ll return it once your done with it) from author, speaker, & fighter against human trafficking through her organisation “A21″, Christine Caine. Find her blogs by clicking here.

The Extra Mile
“I constantly tell our team that “normality is highly overrated.” To make a difference in any area this year, you must choose to live beyond normal and to do the extraordinary.
It is not difficult to do a little extra, and a little extra is all it takes to be extraordinary.
Take an extra moment to listen to your spouse and you will soon have an extraordinary marriage.
Take an extra moment to hug your child and you will soon have extraordinary children.
Take an extra moment to explain something to a team member and you will soon have an extraordinary team.
Take an extra few minutes in the gym and you will soon have extraordinary fitness.
Take a few extra moments in prayer and you will see extraordinary answers to prayer.
Read a few extra books and you will be an extraordinary student.
The difference between ordinary and extraordinary has a lot less to do with gift, talent, favor, or ability than you may think; it has a whole lot more to do with choosing to do that little bit EXTRA.
Choose to make your 2012 the year you will go the EXTRA mile in every area…”
