“What Are You Aiming For?”

During WWII, the United States developed a torpedo with a brain in it. It was a powerful weapon of destruction. At the time the US was in a life-and-death struggle for survival, so this torpedo created a lot of excitement.

When the torpedo was aimed at its target and fired, it would establish a “fix” on the target. If the target moved or changed directions, the torpedo would follow and do the same.

What’s interesting is that this torpedo was designed after the human brain. Scientists discovered that inside our brain is something that enables us to “zero in” or to establish a “fix” on a target we are aiming for. Even if the target moves, or we should be sidetracked, once we have gotten our “fix” we will still hit the target.

This works whether we have positive targets and goals or negative expectations.

Becareful at what your aiming for, you are designed to hit that target.
